EQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1WILL IT HURT TO GET IMPLANTS?
NO. When installing implants we use local anesthesia and sedation with nitrous oxide: you’re asleep throughout the process.
2IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
Since the procedure is low-risk, there’s no age limit. It all depends upon the state of each patient’s health. We’ve even treated 86-year-old patients who wanted to change their dentures (plates) for implants.
3CAN I HAVE MY IMPLANT-SUPPORTED TEETH IMMEDIATELY?

There’s a procedure, often called “Teeth in a Day”, which seems attractive but carries with it a range of risks and problems.

The main risk is that implants may fail to ‘take’, which happens with even the slightest slip while exerting pressure on recent implants. There is also a serious risk of infection.

In the conventional method, once the implant (screw) is set into the jawbone, the dentist will wait for three to five months, which allows the bone to grow around the implant. Once the strength of this bond is confirmed, the ‘head’ is inserted and it in turn receives the porcelain crown. This guarantees successful implants, ones that will last a lifetime.

4HOW MUCH DO IMPLANTS COST?

There are two types of Implant: Premium and Standard.

There are three components to installing the dental work for each tooth:
