International Congresses
AI periodically attend international and national congresses for Implantology, Periodontology and Dental Aesthetics.

2013
2013 Laser Therapy for bone and soft tissue in San Francisco. I wanted to know laster therapy’s various applications, and learned how it works for cutting gum tissue, as well as for removing cavities. My conclusion was that I didn’t need it in my practice, as it was perfectly replaceable by equipment I already had.

2012
In 2012, in Mexico City, I attended two courses in Dental Morphology. These trained me to identify the most important characteristics for making a tooth, or an entire smile, look great.

2011 y 2012
Two International Dental Technicians’ Congresses, with the objective of learning how the world’s best technicians are restoring patients’ dental work with implants, so I could then implement that knowledge in treating my patients.

2010
Two courses in Mexico City in 1985, on making porcelain crowns; another in Guadalajara in 2010, on advances in the field.

2009
2009 Studied bone and gum tissue grafts at UCLA in California. Important for the practice of implantology.

2009
2009. In these courses on grafts we worked with the Piezoelectric Ultrasound Transducer. I purchased one and traveled to Genoa, Italy to take a course in State of the Art Piezoelectric Bone Surgery. We use this probe for installing implants in patients with bone loss.

2005
In 2005 I studied orthodontics for 18 months, Tuesdays from 9 am to 2 pm, to update all my learning about Orthodontic treatments.

1990
In 1990 I studied 300 credit hours in Endodontics; an Endodontist colleague is now on call to treat my patients who require such work.

1975
Various courses in Sedation with Nitrous Oxide; the first at UCLA in 1975. Invaluable tool for keeping patient sedated and relaxed during his or her treatment.
